INTARSIA BOXES AND SCRINES

The decorations are often a result of the talk with our customers.

Any design of your own or maybe the company logo into any wood vener type - large an small.

This series show examples of some of the boxes and scrines we made.

A box with the owners shield on it - with intarsia inlays in silver and coloured veneer.

Below a box with the motiv of the island Funen (motiv taken form one of our serving tablets) and one with a symmetric design for another customer.

This box is quite special. I was made for an exchange student - Anna Wallis - from Brisbane, Australia who remembers a good time in Randers, Denmark by this inlay. Randers is marked with a mother of pearl dot - Denmark is cut in sycamore veneer laid into the dark wengee veneer.

H. C. Andersen's tale of the Princess on the Pea showing the pea! By the way: we made a a couple of variations of this box using different veneers - showing the essence of using wood as colouring material for this kind of art.

Motives related to the content. Here you see the traditional box for the card games.

The traditional and simple expression of a flower on the lid is most liked. Our customer often decide which special flower to show.
